Mascot Guidelines:

As of November 2025, Chibi Chibi Con has a new mascot–Fuwa Fuwa. Fuwa-Chan is our accessibility mascot, existing as a loving embrace of our convention’s mission of accessibility. You may draw Fuwa Fuwa with Chibi if you would like! Please see the guidelines below to ensure you are creating a proper depiction of the characters.

Posters must contain Chibi-Chan to be considered in the contest.

We suggest looking at the past poster winners for inspiration.

Chibi Chibi Chan

Chibi-Chan is an ever-shifting mascot, and we encourage you to take part in her evolution! The first incarnation of Chibi-Chan was a red-haired girl with a bob haircut, in a crop top and a plaid skirt, with robotic limbs. Along the way, she gained her cat ears and tail, and picked up her little green flying squirrel companion (Matcha is not required in your design!)

How you interpret Chibi-Chan is up to you! Here are some attributes to keep in mind:

  • Pink hair
  • Robotic limbs
  • Cat ears and tail
  • A cute, feminine outfit
  • Gear motifs

That being said, make a design that you feel represents Chibi Chibi Con!

Fuwa Fuwa Chan

Fuwa-Chan is our sparkling new accessibility mascot, and we would love poster submissions that include her!

Here are some attributes to keep in mind:

  • A skin tone reflective of how she is depicted in official artwork
  • A mobility device (wheelchair, cane, crutches, etc. please do not use the hospital versions of these aids)
  • A plus-sized body
  • Bunny ears and tail
  • A sporty outfit

Any Fuwa-Chan designs that whitewash or erase disability will be disqualified.

Acknowledgement of Usage Rights

Winning designs will be printed and used as posters by the Chibi Chibi Con Committee to advertise and fundraise for the convention. Submissions will be printed and used by the CCCC as advertising, including but not limited to: posters, flyers, handbills, and internet ads. You will have the option to opt out of certain usage. Parts of submissions may be omitted or edited. Your work will always be credited.

By submitting a poster design, you acknowledge that if your submission is selected, you give the CCCC license to edit, print, sell, and otherwise distribute the winning design and derivative versions in perpetuity.

FAQ:

What can I do with my design?

Regardless of whether you win, you may:

  • Sell your poster design as a full-sized, branded print at CCC or elsewhere
  • Share your design online

You may not:

  • Sell your design “unbranded” (without Chibi Chibi Con text on it).
  • Sell your design in any form other than full-sized prints, or other forms of merchandising such as stickers, buttons, or keychains. Your design is based on our mascot, and unauthorized merchandise of her takes money away from our small convention

How is the winner selected?

Submissions are presented to the Chibi Chibi Con Committee at one of our meetings in an anonymous format.

Can I vote for a winner?

Voting is conducted in-person at a date TBD. You may show up to our meeting and cast a vote.

When will the contest close?

The 2026 poster contest will stop accepting submissions on March 20th, 2026.
