Panel Applications For 2026 Will Open In February. Please Check Back Later.
Panels are the soul of conventions; come see your peers rant, rave, and debate a variety of topics. Laugh, cry, or be inspired–panels are where the fun is at!
Chibi Chibi Con is always looking for panels to fill up our day’s schedule, so if you have an idea, fill out the application!
Panel Rules and Requirements
- All panelists must be at least 16 years of age by the convention date. This includes anyone assisting with the panel in any regard. Panelists who are 16 or 17 must provide a guardian’s information. This guardian will be contacted for permission.
- Panelists can be returning, experienced, or new. Panel acceptance is not based on legacy.
- Panel acceptance is primarily first-come-first-serve. Some exceptions are panels that are too similar to other panels submitted prior to the same application, and panels of a bigoted nature. Chibi Chibi Con reserves the right to reject panels that disagree with its fundamental beliefs of a safe, diverse, and fun environment.
- Panel applicants must provide a rating for the panel they intend to host. Panels must abide by the rules of the rating chosen. See below for a description of panel ratings.
- Any panel that is rated 18+ must be hosted by an individual(s) that is 18 years or older, and all attendees of the panel must be IDed before entry. Minors may not host 18+ panels.
- Panels should be anime or fandom-related. Panels that are not of a related topic may be rejected. Exceptions are made for guests, professors of the Evergreen State College, Evergreen clubs, and local organizations who are tabling, who are all encouraged to apply.
- You must show up at your scheduled panel location at least 15 minutes before your scheduled panel time in order to set up.
- Your panel cannot run longer than the requested panel length. In your application, you must specify a length of 30 Minutes, 1 hour, or 1 hour and 30 Minutes. There will be a 15-minute window before and after your scheduled panel time to allow for set-up and take-down. This time is not extra allotted time for your panel to run.
- Panelists are allowed to rearrange tables and chairs, but must put all moved furniture back into its correct location after the panel has ended. Panelists may not rearrange screens, projectors, or technology within the panel room.
- Panelists and panel attendees may not climb, stand on top of, be underneath, tip over or upside down, jump, or run on any furniture in the room.
- Panels may not display any personal information or images of anyone not involved with the hosting of the panel, or who has not given permission for their personal information or images to be displayed.
- Panelists must be respectful of all attendees and must follow all convention policies seen on this page.
- Panelists may NOT provide monetary rewards or incentives at their panels under any circumstances.
- If you have any other questions regarding panels at Chibi Chibi Con, please email evergreenchibicon@gmail.com or reach out on our Discord server.
